Nice! I love B8 S4s only right after B5s though lol. I miss driving these when I used to work for Audi. Good luck with the car, they are fun

So far, so good. I have put about 4500 miles on it so far and I am still enjoying it. I finally had the chance to drive it in the snow this past Friday and it's pretty fun getting a 4-wheel drift going with the traction control turned off. I'm averaging 20 mpg which isn't too bad...makes me feel like owning this car isn't a complete financial boondoggle lol.

I said I wasn't going to mod this car, but it's damn hard to resist. Some mods I have done:

* Various tweaks via VCDS / Vag-com, the best of which is enabling the Audi Drive Select options for Engine and Steering, i.e. the Comfort/Auto/Dynamic settings that you get form the factory when the car is equipped with the rear sport differential. Dynamic mode for the engine changes the throttle mapping completely from what I can tell.....makes it feel like a different (better) engine. Dynamic steering basically adds some weight to the steering to make it feel more like a BMW.

* Alu Kreuz single piece billet aluminum drivetrain stabilizer (made by Eurocode). Stiffens up the front end of the chassis and eliminates the "floaty" feeling in the steering when going around turns. It basically helps the front of the car to feel super planted and inspires confidence for applying throttle through the turn.

* 'Supercharged' side badges with carbon fiber insert. Gets rid of the silly 'V6T' badges that come with the car.

Upcoming: RS4 style front grille, black honeycomb with gloss black trim. It does not have the center horizontal bar that the stock grille has. I probably won't install this until the weather warms up, since it requires removal of the front bumper. Will post new pics ASAP!

Sorry for the late reply. YES, I regret getting one without the sport differential. If/when I get another Audi S-car, it will have this feature without a doubt. The only benefit of having a non sport-diff model is that I have one less expensive thing to have to worry about repairing or replacing later, but from most reports it's a relatively reliable system.
Bottom line: hold out for one that has the sport differential. Other features that I would consider to be "must-haves" are the Advanced Key and the full MMI w/ Nav. The carbon atlas inlays are nice but not a 'necessity'. And if you plan to stick with OEM wheels, definitely upgrade to the 19" 5 tri-spoke wheels, which look leaps and bounds better than the stock 18's.

^ Nice! I saw you post over at Audizine also. Congrats on the purchase. Where did you end up finding that car, and did it come with the aftermarket front end?

A dealer in Harrisburg had it on his lot for consignment. The owner also had an r8 spider and a couple other very nice cars.

It came with the body kit, no way I'd spend $4000+ on it! But since it already has it I do enjoy it

Sounds like a very good deal. Do you have any pics of the car looking directly at the front?

So that's you on Audizine, who buy it from a vendor and not straight from awe? A good friend had the same exhaust on his white 2012 and it sounds great

When's the tune coming?

Yup that's me!
I know it seems weird not to buy direct from AWE, but the vendor I went with was having a summer sale and offered it shipped for ~$300 less than the price listed on AWE's website. I didn't want to ask AWE to price match because I know sometimes vendors sell products for less than what the Manufacturer would like them to. And since it was going to be made to order by AWE anyway, it was an ideal situation.

Tune is coming maybe next year. Got a wedding and honeymoon to pay for next month which will pretty much exhaust any play money I would otherwise have this year.
