New DD - 2012 Audi S4

I got the itch to move on from my '04 STi as a DD, and picked up this 2012 S4 with 21k miles on the clock. Bone stock except for tint. Mods planned in the next couple months:
* Winter wheels+tires
* Clear headlight overlays - gotta protect those lenses
* Audi 'Supercharged' badges (have to decide between red or carbon fiber)
* H&R OE Sport Springs (lowers ~1.2 inches)
* 10mm spacers

Here are some pics from the day I brought her home. Enjoy!

Make sure you do some research on actual gas mileage. I'm getting ~19mpg with mixed "suburban" driving, not babying it but not mashing the gas either. It's inside the advertised 18 city / 27 highway ratings, but obviously closer to the low end. I imagine it's because the supercharger in the S4 is building boost even in the low end, while the turbo is only going to build boost when you get into it. You could probably do better gas mileage wise with a turbo'd car because it's easy enough to stay out of boost (with some discipline), but with the blower being belt-driven you don't have much choice.

Thanks, and yeah....we'll see how long I can hold off. I think for the time being I can stick to just that list of mods. But come spring time...well we will just see about that.

BTW do you guys work on Audi at all? Looking to get a set of H&R OE sport springs installed and definitely don't want to tackle it myself. I don't trust myself with this over-engineered German stuff. Let me know..

Just for fun, bored on a Sunday:

This weekend I had a set of H&R OE Sport springs installed, and I blacked out the orange side markers in the headlight housings. Will grab some pics later this week and post up. Crappy iPhone preview shot of headlights:

I see you got the springs installed already but for future reference we do bolt on work and of course suspension work for the cars. The only thing we don't currently do is tuning on euro stuff.

It's going well! I looked at trading in the STi but they were offering me a super low-ball number, so I ended up selling it privately. The 2013's definitely are preferable- improved steering, headlights, flat bottom steering wheel, refined MMI interface. But this one had some miles on the clock, so the previous owner took the initial depreciation hit and made the car "affordable".
