Turn 14 Distribution - Customer Service

Turn 14 Distribution is a growing company in the automotive performance parts aftermarket. We target modern Japanese imports (70%), diesel pickup trucks (15%), and modern muscle cars (15%). We are a wholesale only distributor that deals in a high volume of transactions acting as a mail order fulfillment center. We were established in 2002 and have been growing since then; currently employing 30 full time staff members. Our company is in growth mode so we need motivated individuals who want to go the extra mile and grow with us. Working at Turn 14 cannot be just a job to pay the bills; it has to be your career focus.

One of the best things about working at Turn 14 is the inside access to the underbelly of the performance parts aftermarket. Customer Service representatives are problem solvers who have to know our processes from top to bottom and be able to take on issues and fix them in a self sufficient manner. We see customer service as a top priority, responding to and resolving issues minute to minute. We are not a massive company with an encyclopedia of answers to draw from when solving problems and pleasing customers so this position takes sound judgment, problem solving, and decision making. Customer service is also seen as a stepping stone position where employees who can handle the responsibility proceed on to other positions in the company in management, sales, purchasing, or marketing. Customer service is Turn 14’s proving ground.

Turn 14 is a technology forward company; presently using all 64-bit computers on a newly renovated gigabit network. All staff members spend 90% of their time on their computers instant messaging, e-mailing, processing orders on the internet, using vendor’s websites, etc. This means computer efficiency is paramount to being successful at Turn 14. If you cannot hold your own working on a computer all day please do not apply. We utilize these programs daily: Outlook, Excel, Internet Explorer, Trillian (Instant Messenger), and our internal accounting program.
Pay will start full time, 40 hours per week, at a competitive rate. Benefits include cost part purchasing, 2 weeks paid Vacation, Health (80% covered by T14), Vision (80% covered by T14), Dental (80% covered by T14), and Matching 401k (up to 4%). Hours will be 9:30am to 6pm with a 30 min lunch break or 9am to 6pm with a 1 hour lunch break Monday through Friday only.

Now that you know more about the position and what it entails please let us know if you are interested in a position in Customer Service at Turn 14 Distribution by sending a cover letter and resume to mhall@turn14.com ; resumes without a cover letter will not be considered. Thank you!

Please direct all comments, questions, or concerns to us via e-mail; thank you. mhall@turn14.com

Turn 14 is a great company. They are some of the nicest and easiest to do business with in this industry. Rich always gets me what I need here at the shop the next day, and big thanks to Joe and Matt for all their help as well. If the whole industry was as efficient as them, my daily stress level would be at a 3 instead of an 8.

So.... Why is this not being handled privately as requested in the first place?

You have 51 posts.... does it really make a difference?
