Not exactly my mod plans, but oh well...Brake upgrade.

So the wagon front brakes were perilously close to being metal on metal when I washed the car on Monday. The rotors were pretty torn up too, so I decided to take care of the brakes before I really did some damage.
I would like to thank Manny, Moe, and Jack's speed shop for the parts.
EBC dimpled and slotted rotors and Hawk pads.

Shut up you, I didn't put it there.
Yes, both Hawk pads and EBC Green/Red pads, plus the afore mentioned EBC rotors can be had at PepBoys.

I never congratulated you on the car, so...

Nice brakes, +1 for what you paid if you don't mind.

Ahh… those rotors look oh so sexy!

I’m predicting Mike is gonna bring us one of the sickest wagons in the near future. ;)

OK guys, sit down...

It was about $330 for the pads and rotors. I was looking online at prices, and that is about par for the course, so I figure I saved on shipping. Now to eventually see what steel braided lines are going for.

Update please. So how do you like the EBC pads and rotors so far? Bite when cold? Fade?

I think I'm going to go with a set also.

i'll speak for him since he can't help but speak for me!
he still has the rotors (they are VERY noisy) but gave up the hawk pads- i'll let him tell you the name of the replacement but he hated the hawks and likes the new ones much more.
;)

I like the EBC's a ton more than the Hawk's I had on there. Definately more bite when cold. The combo is noisy though. More than I was prepared for.
