Buy a whole system. It's just going to rot out somewhere else if you repair it.

185 to repair it or to replace it? i can't imagine any exhaust shop just welding that up without seriously advising you to just replace it, and if they're just going to "repair" it 185 is crazy and you should slap that guy with your dick. however, 185 to replace it sounds about right, thost flanges look rusted out and stuck together, so they would probably replace that cat and the piping. does the entire system look that bad? i'm not sure what to tell you, that's a pretty beat system and if you're going to pay to replace it you might as well get a less restrictive aftermarket exhaust

sounds good, why not get a test pipe if you're putting it on yourself ?

A test pipe is a staight piece of pipe that takes the place of a catalytic converter.
