Cops being able to search tractor trailer anytime

Drowsy Noob-Jersey Join Date: Dec 2007 Member #6484 My Ride: 1985 El Camino iTrader: (0)	Cops being able to search tractor trailer anytime Hey, one of my friends dad's says that because of the Patriot Act, any cops can pull over his 18wheeler and randomly search it in and out without a warrant. He says this is done going in and out of NYC. My question - I thoughts cops always needed warrant to search something. Keep in mind - he is an owner operator and does not haul any hazardous or of the like material.
