good stuff! i was a little worried because the guy told me the drawings were like 300 meters long when he opened them or something. I gave him some measurements and he said he could scale it down to correct sizes. I was a tad nervous though LOL. ill be home starting Friday morning. If you just measure an "area" of good to go-ness off the old head, I can probably build it off the junker and bring it down for a test fit before final welding

I'm still subscribed. Sometimes my brother sees the updates on r3v first and tells me. Hahaha

There are two stud holes that need to be widened, but the holes are straight/lined up, just are too small for the studs ATM. Other than that, the ports line up great, etc. And that's hilarious, I had no idea they would open up so big. Hey, they were free.

And yep, that works for me, I can snap a picture from above the bay and give you dimensions. The only thing I'm curious about will be the AC compressor and oil filter housing.

Just informed of a little road trip coming up with my brother to Tischer to get a new dash first week of January.

He's nuts.

Hell, his front end isn't painted yet. So much money in an e30. Haha

Hahah oh man, you guys are ballsy for doing the paint. That's the big time/money item right there. And a dash? If my car had a cracked dash it'd stay in there forever

LOL what. 16x9 +15 poked slightly and were 1/4" from the struts on my bros 325.

Can the iX fit that much more with the flare kit?

Bahah I was just being satirical. They're 15x8 +36.

Funny you say that though, the iX flares actually don't actually provide any extra fender clearance. They just make it aesthetically wider but still just pop onto your stock fenders. I really wish they made them functional.

Was nice out today so I scrubbed the hell out of the engine bay and gave her a good pressure wash. I think the dirt/grease protected everything underneath.

Before:

After:

Also, got the car outside for a wider shot with the new wheels.
