Picked this car up about a month and a half ago so I figured I should start a journal on some progress I've made with it.

To start, it's a 1990 hatchback with a redtop SR, t3/t4 top mount, greddy intake manifold, z32 MAF, 550cc injectors, fmic, Megan street coil overs, etc. I got the car with a spun #3 rod bearing.

Pulled the motor and trans, pulled the bottom end, and put in a new crank and all new bearings.

After reinstalling the engine and trans IT STARTED!! But runs super rich and has an awful idle. I pulled the computer and found that it is socketed for a daughterboard but someone decided to remove it so it has no clue what is going on right now. I ordered a new daughterboard with basemap and am currently waiting on that to arrive so I can work out any bugs in the car.

Thank you! I have wanted an s13 for a long time and I ended up trading my bike for this one. Hardly had time to ride so I figured I would put my spare time into building a car that I really wanted. Got lucky and came across this.
