1983 Malibu Wagon

Well I finally got the car of my dreams. I know it looks like a piece of **** but it kind of is. The body does have rust on it but any rust on the car is just surface rust at the time. The outside of the car didn't matter as much to me compared to having a half decent interior which is what it is. Anyways went to look at this car yesterday and then came home with it. Well it's actually sitting at my buddies house for now on a trailer until I find space in my other garage spot.

It's a 1983 Malibu Wagon with a 350 small block with hydraulic cam, turbo 350 trans with a 2200 stall converter and a 10 bolt with 2.73 gears in it. It was a fun car for his girlfriend but the car has been sitting for 2 years. It started right up car was running 15s but at the time it was running. I already plan on changing out the rear for a Monte Carlo SS rear that has 3.73s in it. It will probably be my bracket racing fun car. If anything goes on it, I don't really care.

The mustang I have will just sit and be the cruiser while this gets some attention.

Well the day after Christmas my buddy and I decided to work on the Malibu cleaning her up and getting that new fuel pump on. So $20 after that it runs great.

Next is the exhaust. What you are hearing in the video is open headers. We found exhaust all the way back and exiting the rear tires all for $150.
