I'd personally like to see what it makes as it is now with the stock ECU and injectors, it should only take you like 15 minutes to swap injectors and an ECU in this thing, pulling the plenum is nothing. :P

With no IC, on stock boost and with the FPR, I Would guess maybe 240-250hp? I will be more then happy with 300HP once it is tuned. The thing is I need to get the FPR on at least before I make the drive down to get it dynoed, simply because the car gets crap MPGs right now and it would cost me a fortune to drive 2 hours in it lol. |

Don't know why, I drove that car all over and got great MPGs...ask Brian. LOL

Quick picture I snapped this morning after a sort of successful test fit of new wheels and tires last night.
The tires are 235/55 and the wheels are 17x8.5 I think. They clear the rear with no issues, but the fronts are another story. Even with 25mm wheel spacers the tires are just too big for the front. I need to figure out what size tire I Can stretch on that wheel and get it too clear, but I am thinking that the wheel is just too wide for the front anyway. Might have to try and find a skinny version of that wheel for the front. |

So normally I go for the RWD car and let the poor Sentra put along as my DD. I was going to just get the Z31 running good and go back to the Sentra but the Z was all like: "**** that FWD garbage! I am RWD and boosted and V6 and awesome! Make me faster!" Poor Sentra... I am however waiting on some quotes from a shop to see what the Sentra will cost me to get built. The Z (performance wise) will be done by Spring since all I need now is a IC setup. Then the Sentra should see some attention, especially if the Z is DD worthy come spring time which it should be. The engine build shouldn't be expensive, my HP goals are modest mainly because the solid rear axle on the Sentra just pisses me off lol. I don't think I am going to Auto-X it because of that anymore. I was getting up on 3 wheels a lot haha. I am going to be happy with a FWD and RWD 300HP car. Simple enough! |

So I am throwing up the Sentra for sale pretty soon. I don't have to sell it but but I'd rather just concentrate on 1 project and the Z just has a lot more potential.
If anyone is interested send me a PM. I am going to ask 3000$ without the Gram Light Wheels, NISMO Wing and Sparco Seat setup. Mods the car will come with installed: Custom 3" Stromund catback, TWM Short shifter adapter, Z32 Big Brake Upgrade, Walbro 255LPH fuel pump, NISMO Lower Tie bar, SRI, gutted stock exhaust manifold, Clutchmasters Stage 3 clutch, Findaza 11lb flywheel, JWT BSR Kit and more can't think what else right now, but it's around 2000$ worth on mods. Anything extra will obviously cost more including the wheels, Seat, turbo setup, wing, Stillen front sway bar and new bushings, oil pressure gauge, Brand new AJUSA HG and ARP head studs, and a few other things. The car as it sits right now runs fine. Has its issues but gets the job done as a DD. PM me for more details on the car if anyone is interested. Will get a real FS thread up at some point. Parents want me to get a brand new car, but that is a bigger car payment then I want. I am looking to spend 15k (give or take 1k) on something FWD or AWD with under 50k miles, 2005 or newer, has to be manual. Looking towards Nissan Frontiers, Toyota Tacomas, Mazda Speed3's, Subaru Foresters and Jeep Wranglers right now. Looking for stock (lifts on Jeeps are ok). Will really start looking after I get my tax return. |

I know everyone despises leases, but I think in the long run it might be the best for me, especially if I could put down 7-$8000 and keep my payments under 300$ a month. Again it is something I have to talk to my parents about and see what they think. Leasing a car will also keep me from modding it which will also save me money in the long run lol. Plus if I am bored with it in 2 years, I turn it in and that is that. Again, all this is in the early stages. Only way things will move forward is if my parents OK everything. (Yes I still live with my parents because it is a lot cheaper to pay them rent then living on my own in North NJ, not too mention being on my father's car insurance is a lot cheaper.) Chances are I won't be able to sell the Sentra (which at some point may mean I am parting the thing out completely). I plan on having the Sentra get me through the winter one more time before finally letting it go. |

Trade the sentra for my Subaru lol. I think what your doing is best. I think the Sentra is pretty kick ass, and I give it alot of respect. But I definitely understand how fwd nissan's cost alot to build, and are a headache. As far as leasing, you might be better off buying new. There are some pretty good deals out there for new cars now a days.

If I can lease what I want to lease it will be worth it for 2 years when compared to what my payments would be if I bought. Plus if I buy a car, I am more tempted to mod it, when I just want to concentrate on the Z. Only thing I will buy without being tempted to mod much would be a truck or a Jeep, but even then I would still want to lift it lol. |

It's a Sparco Fighter seat Red/Black, with Sparco Rails/Slider, welded to a Sentra/Maxima Sparco Seat Mount (it's the only way to make it work, Sparco fails to tell you that when you buy it) with a red 4-pt Sparco harness and 2 black Sparco shoulder pads.
Seat= 550$ Rails/Slider= 70$ Mount= 90$ Harness= 90$ Pads=25$ It's a bolt in affair since it is welded. |

The road is slowly coming to an end with the Sentra. Been parting it out, getting ready for my new car (trying to finalize the deal on it this week). Will be sad to see it go, but it's going to a close friend so I will still see it all the time.
If anyone needs any parts, Sentra or turbo parts that came off the Sentra (BOV, WG, turbo, etc...), let me know. Bacon, if you want that seat, let me know, we can work something out since you are local. |

Looks like the deal for the new car is nearly finished. Both excited and sad. Sad to see the Sentra, a car I have for 5 years, go, but excited to start fresh. I always wanted to get a brand new car, and now with my current job I can. Won't say what I got just yet, but it is going to be really fun, and very different but that is exactly how I have always played it.
Current plans for it are very modest: And exhaust (already found what I want) because it extremely quiet, I can't even hear the engine rev up, an intake, and few other little things for now. It was pretty hard finding what I wanted because I didn't want to spend a fortune and didn't want to buy a car I constantly see on the road. New Speed3s were a thought, but I see them too often and I don't like a car that smiles at me. If the Focus ST was out I would have been all over that. The Volvo C30 has always been a favorite of mine, but just a bit too pricey. EVOs and STIs are nice, but I am not a huge fan of AWD, plus I think they are over priced (my personal opinion), and I see them everywhere. I considered a Forrester XT, but they start at 27k and the power just isn't there. I found something that is right up my alley. Test driving it was fun, and after a few mods, this thing will turn some heads. There are few things I don't like about it, but compared to other cars I looked at and considered, I love it. Possibly picking it up tomorrow, if not by Friday I should have it. |
