Cavalier's or Sunfire's?
Mine's a '99 Z24 with a spec stage II clutch, BFG drag radials, an exhaust cutout just before the stock muffler, custom mandrel bent 2.25" cat back piping to the cutout, Nitrous Works wet nitrous kit, MSD rpm window switch to turn the nitrous on and off (3800 rpm on, 6100 rpm off), and a bottle heater/ guage combo. Ran a best of 13.303 @ 103.57 MPH with a backup run of 13.314 @105 mph. Since then, I've added an OBX stainless steel 4 into 1 header and am putting on a 56mm tb very shortly.

Not too many J body guys here. I guess they stick together, and most places they get disrespected. Hopefully not here though.

Holy ish 13.3
Talk about a sleeper. Tell your J body friends to come on over. They'll get no disrespect from me.

I'm working on procuring another J body project to use as a race car so I can retire this one from race duty and take the kit off it. I found a 91 Cavalier VL (totally stripped down base model) that I would like to do a motor swap on and juice the crap out of it. It's about 400 lbs lighter than my car with a bigger engine bay I've just got to find out how hard it would be to swap in a Northstar!

That's 1100 HP, actually. And now all drag cars competing in NHRA events with an Ecotec have a weight penalty put on them because they are becoming damn near unbeatable.

Had A 90 CAVALIER. it was rusted to the $hit but that cavi's 2.2 liter engine was a beast, I had a custom exhaust, CAI, Isolated Head(I took every stinkin hose coming out of the top of the engine and put breathers on them all.), and of course the Prototype Butane Injection System(Cheaper than N20, and refills for it is lighter fluid), and it made approx 200 whp, which for a beat up cavi with a stock engine with 100+ on the clock, was pretty F-ing Awsome. I wish I could have swapped that engine into my Escort now.

Used to own a 1990 Z, rust free. Loved the 3.1L motor, ran like a champ. Only reason its RIP now is due to the brake master cylinder going. I dont think ive seen too many JBO people on here, I think PJ (daflyingsqwirl) has been here to pst his times at the track (14sec NA eco).
I stopped really heading to JBO though, cause of the egos and crap that seem to float around there. That, and most of their better cars arent really in the TST area, a lot of em are in MI, AZ, and more towards the midwest.
