When i saw a concept computer render in Car and Driver a few months ago i hated it. However, the finished product looks very different from that computer render. I love a lot of this car but i dont like that it now has the generic in car gps and such at all, also i'm meh on the front bumper.

I love everything about it except the front end. Reminds me of a Corvette slightly.

true but its 8.4l and lamborghini has 700bhp from a 6.5l v12 although the viper makes more torque. although im sure Hennessey will have this modified quickly once he gets a hold of one.

srt really goes for a balance with this car. it's a race car

Jason, the vette and viper share a very similar shape. pretty rad. wish my car had an 8.4l.... little jealous haha.

I'll def own a Viper before I die. I have a feeling once the Z06 is paid off it will stay my DD and I'll pick up a Viper GTS as a weekend car.

The powerband is way different in a exotic then a pushrod V8/V10. Pushrods make power through the RPM rang. These high reving exotics only make top end power.

Sure, anyone can put a high lift cam into a pushrod V8/V10 and add 100HP... but that also shifts the powerband up really high and makes it drive like crap on the street. It is a similiar concept to putting a huge turbo in an I4.

Would you rather average more power 80% of the time or have a few extra ponies for the 20% of the powerband you can only use here and there?

regardless ive allways loved Vipers and this one is no differant....looks like a winner to me.

i dont understand how people see ferrari before viper on this car... it just looks like an evolution of a 90s gts, i mean its on the same base frame just beefed up/lighter.

From the headlights forward I can kinda see Ferrari. The hood reminds me of a C5 Corvette shape that is just more agressive. From the wheels back it is a great example of a Viper.

2013 gt500 and 2012+ ZR1

i think ford and chevy have it covered, granted the shelby probably isnt as much of a track monster as the ZR1 and Viper are.

looks like neither of those cars...shares a similar tail light design, but that's about it.
