the 99 9-3 is the best car ever made (less the naturally aspirated incarnations).

I got a 5 speed 03 Saab 9-5 Aero as a daily. I keep wanted just to lower it with an exhaust, bov, fmic, and yellow fog lights, but my money keeps going elsewhere, Eventually. Right now I need a new lip and fog light.
Good DD though.

Laser,
Nice car. I've always liked that front end better then mine, plus that blue is nice too. Sounds like a good mod list, but you'll come to find the 9-5's computer doesn't allow for a BOV from what I've read. It makes it throw codes and run like poop. As far as the exhaust goes, I have the Saab Sport on mine and love the sound of it. Oh and I hate you for having silver trim around the dash while I have fake wood grain!!!! Only joking. |

I think you should trade me those BBS wheels :D haha. Thanks, for the complements, and the tid bit of info about the BOV, to be honest I keep talking about putting money into it, but then I think about my two other cars that don't even run yet.

Sorry the BBS's go with the car. However if you'd like to purchase the wheels for $8000, I'll throw the rest of the car in for free!!! LOL. Plus they could actually use some work, the previous owner never took them off for winter so there bubbling and the paint is coming off the lip. Nothing horrible or harmful to the wheel itself, I'm just anal about my car's.
As far as more info goes, check out Saablink.net. They're a pretty good group with a nice deal of info. |

Sorry this is an old post have not visited in a while. The 90's GM saabs were still made ( all parts) in sweden, untill they started dipping in the better GM parts bin they were pretty bad, just ask any Classic 900 owner how many times the trans had to be fixed ( mine (1987) 2X under warranty) how many times the windows got stuck down or how bad the rust got... Now you can put 300K miles on a well maintained engine but there are way more of them than good condition bodies.. |
