Please advise inexpensive auto carriers

Hi. Today I was offered to buy a car in good condition, but it is far away (500 miles from me), there is no time to go after it, maybe someone knows an inexpensive carrier? Or would it be better to take a car for worse but in my city? Please advise what to do.
