Huh? There was a full on drifting session on Saturday... They mostly sucked.. But you surely can't confuse attempted drifting w/ autocross.

before they drifted infront of the big crowd on saturday they had gymkhana on the same track. most of the drifters competed in that too. from what i understand they completely negated the results and then had sunday's gymkhana as the official one. the drifting was for non-pro drivers who wanted seat time.

i wanted to do the saturday gymkhana but i dont own a helmet so it was a no go for me...

You can always ask to borrow one at these events. Everybody is usually cool about it

Is that Mike Sapienza's RWD Civic? The owner of the old Xtreme auto in Hopewell jct,NY. Last time I saw him he had just completed a RWD Orange Civic that looked just like this one on the top. However I have'nt seen the car in over 3 years so my mental picture of the car could be a bit off. I believe he had a twin turbocharged SB Chevy motor in it. It was tubbed,narrowed, with a nice 4 link.
