is this the first holiday season you've worked there? i can only imagine how it can drive you crazy. I know way too much about stress from hectic days at work though... try to leave it at work so it doesn't bring you down outside of office!

morning all! awesome that there's a food day at work today to celebrate my friend Pete who is going to be a new dad in a few weeks. so much food. i'm gonna be sick/dead from being so full. maybe i'll be heavy enough to not blow away from the wind today. it's crazy outside.

I started my day by being an hour late to work, getting BITCHED out, and seriously contemplating quitting my job.

What an AWESOME DAY to try to quit smoking!! Its only 10:45 and the little cigarette gremlins are already going NUTS!!

Had a horrible drive to work. Made several embarassing mistakes and which was all preceded by an Infinity G37X being a complete ****ing douchebag. I was seriously considering just rear ending him.

On a side notes, I saw 3 huge trucks on 422 on my way to work that were carrying huge wings to an plane. And I mean huge, like 2X as long as a normal trailer. Guess they are only make 1.5 jets this week lol

Pretty sure those are wind mill blades. For a while I saw trailers hauling them down the turnpike on a daily basis.

Ken, I don't know how you deal with that web ****. It's all just so cobbled together. Nothing is tightly integrated at all. Local (WPF) apps in visual studio are where it's at. Asp.net ajax is a great idea but it sucks compared to jquery and again you're cobbling **** together to make a good site. Luckily I rarely even have to look at the web stuff since I have guys to do that for me now.

i love the web, it's what i grew up on and i enjoy working on apps for it. I don't touch .net..

but yeah, everything does seem so cobbled together and the open source cms tools are a joke. i prefer the django framework though, which is merely a python web framework that makes developing a breeze. I'm looking into learning more about python itself to do some desktop apps.
