my goodness, my IQ just dropped a few points reading that apology. perhaps, i am being harsh, but are you as dumb as you sound/write?

i realize that i don't know you and vice versa, but your approach to what happened is out of line IMO. the meet organizers have made it abundantly clear what is permitted and what is not. instead of heeding their simple rules, you post up what amounts to a pretty insincere apology.

it ain't about what you drive as we all know. it's about who is driving and how they do it.

most folks who drive hondas don't fall into "that category". the way i see it, it's like with lawyers: the bad ones make 'em all look bad. and it is a shame really.

while there is some true and merit to stereotypes, it is unwarranted to use such stereotypes to prejudge. as the overused quote goes, "if you don't know me, don't judge me".

That's true. I know a few of the Si owners at the meet and they're cool, but some Civic drivers just give all the rest a bad name. I understand though, since the Civic is a relatively cheap car. That means two things. 1: A lot of young people drive them and 2: there are more on the road. These two things combined give way to more negative portrayals of the Civic, which fortifies the overall generalization of the group as immature raceboy ricers with fart cans.
