So how big is this meet? A bunch of the Allentown crew is thinking about visiting our Philly brothers one last time for the season so want to make sure it is worth the hour+ drive...

well its just kinda starting but i have a feeling that if the weather is clear there will be a pretty good turnout. if you guys are coming out i'll make sure to be there no matter the weather.

photos from the "one timer" before the meet was official...i was too busy having fun rather than taking pix...id say there were about 30 local members there that night (some came and left etc.) but now since the meet is official, I won't be surprised if we break the 50 mark, and this is just the first meet.

I hope to see the old faces as well as new ones this week, this is definately a great meet spot as long as weather permits (knock on wood) but so far for this week it looks like we are in the clear.

Just a thought I had when talking to someone this week... I know everyone loves Sonic and I'm sure it will have a great draw of people for meets... but with winter fast approaching, what if we 'compromised' a bit and tried to stick at Friendly's for the winter, and not really break out over to Sonic until the spring? Not saying thats how it has to be, just an idea especially considering one you can sit inside at and the other you cant... it will also help to still show some love to Friendly's.
I'm not against having a meet at Sonic now, or even once a month or whatever you guys want to do through the winter, just thinking Friendly's might be nice through the winter since the crowd wont be too big and we can at least go inside there.

I agree with TROLL. I'd rather be nice and warm inside somewhere. I'm one of them who won't come to a meet because it's too cold. I hate cold weather. Besides, Sonic is great for drinks, but Friendly's has bangin' food.
