Nice! You installing the pump? I'm curious for someone to drop one of these in and see how easy it is. Keep us posted.

how did the fp install go? I haven't gotten around to doing mine yet. TP stage 3 is awesome, glad you're enjoying it!

edit: also, how much of a PITA was it to get the hoses for the BCS on the turbo nipples?! I had such a hard time with that.

the fuel pump install definitely was more of a pain in the ass than i thought, but it wasn't "hard" by any means. Id say you pretty much need a second set of hands, and make sure you have a nice clean work bench to swap the pumps out on, theres a few little parts you don't want to misplace. Its not bad though and it fits perfect.

And yea...the hose that goes to the turbo was kicking my ass. I got it on once but accidentally nicked it with the needle noses i was using and had to cut another piece of hose to put on. Its funny how such a simple install can be so annoying because of something like that.

The next thing i need to do is the spark plugs...really not looking forward to them. Im considering paying someone to do them, but i HATE having anyone work on my cars soooo

Nice. Glad to hear the pump wasn't that bad. I did the plugs on my bugeye wagon a couple times, and it was a PITA. And that was on the 2.0--the 2.5 has even less room in there. I've got new plugs waiting and I'm not looking forward to changing them either. Though having an intake makes it *slightly* easier to do on the passenger side.

yea i mean i even asked r/t tuning how much they'd want and they said $140...so I'm not like jumping to get anyone to do them haha. Im not worried i can't do them, i just don't have a lot of swivel sockets or pivoting ratchets and apparently that makes it a ton easier. I guess its time to invest in a few more tools :/

$140 to change the plugs?? Eff. Looks like I'll be giving it a try myself too.

Damn in that case get some swivel sockets for maybe like 50 bucks and still save money from doing it yourself, plus you gain new tools! Win-win!

lol i can't justify buying actual tools from harbor freight. I only use them for jacks and engine hoists, and shiz like that :P

think of what you said yes to a jack that holds lifts a car, but no to swivel sockets haha. If you need a whole set def go craftsman, husky etc... If you need one or two HF lol.
