I love 10 hour days if they are associated with 4 days a week of work, lol.

I do those all the time. It's not so hard. 8 hrs at one job, 3.5 at the other.

By the way morning all. Hope everyone has a nice weekend. Will be working tomorrow at the part time job and that's all my plans of this weekend.

Yeah, but how does a computer do it? Someone created the formula, then someone else wrote a program that would use that formula to give you the calculated answer.

noo... computers have a brain they can think it out right!
(being very sarcastic)

on a different geeky note, I found article and think the advancements in medicine are awesome. I have a titanium rod in place of my right humerus. seeing this news is inspiring.

Quote:
A new kind of titanium foam implant that resembles the inside of a bone could be integrated into the human skeleton and immediately bear loads.

Researchers at the Fraunhofer Institute for Manufacturing and Advanced Materials in Dresden have developed a titanium-based substance for a new generation of implants.

According to Dr Peter Quadbeck, the coordinator of the TiFoam research programme at Fraunhofer, the new porous material makes implants less stiff than conventional ones and promotes in-growth into surrounding bones.

Quadbeck said the titanium foam was developed through a powder-metallurgy-based moulding process that has been used for decades in the industrial production of ceramic filters for aluminium casting.

He explained that the process begins by coating polyurethane foams with a solution consisting of a binding medium and fine titanium powder. The polyurethane and binding agents are removed through vapourisation, and the resulting foam structure is ultimately sintered.

While there are titanium-based bone implants on the market, Quadbeck said they are often very expensive.

‘With our development we think it may be possible to manufacture such bone implant material with a much lower price,’ he said.

Quadbeck said implants made with TiFoam would be durable enough to sustain the forces of weight and motion. The implants would also have bone-like rigidity and this means that stress could be applied to them immediately after insertion.

While the TiFoam researchers concentrated on demonstrating the viability of titanium foam for replacement of defective vertebral bodies, the team claims that it is also suitable for repairing other severely stressed bones.

Apart from Fraunhofer’s role in the project, physicians from the medical centre at the Technical University of Dresden and several other companies were involved in developing the titanium foam.

Project partner Innotere stated that it would soon develop and manufacture TiFoam-based bone implants.

The worst part is- I had a feeling the 225/40's werent protecting my wheels enough, so I JUST bought 235/40's to put on. Not even a day later I demolish my wheel, before getting the new tires put on. ARGGHHH!
Check out wheel collision center in Bethlehem. They seriously have everything OEM, they might even have your aftermarket.

Also, sup guys.. Down in NC still, last day. It was like a psycho hurricane down here but that's passed now and the 540 is unscathed. Sun today so going to go play with wave runners. This vacation has seriously been the best ever despite it raining almost every day. Radar detector has saved me from 13 big tickets so far.

I was stuck on a crazy sleep schedule for a long time. I could not get myself out of bed when I wanted to, and as a result couldnt fall asleep early enough the next night, and the cycle would just keep repeating. You either have to force yourself to stay up a whole 24hrs and then go to bed at like 9pm, or you have to force yourself to go to bed when you want to. For the first week or two, 10pm would sneak up on me and I wouldnt want to go to bed at all. I started taking 3mg Melatonin (over the counter stuff), and it worked really well for me. I could take it when I wasnt sleepy at all, and 45mins later Id be out. Best part about it was it didnt KEEP me asleep, it just made me fall asleep. I could wake up 4 hours later and be fine if I had to, but it worked really well for actually putting me to sleep for that first week or two. Now that ive gotten used to it, I get tired naturally around 10pm, and usually am asleep by 11.
