Hey all. Finally got a laptop after a year of working here finally. Nothing special but I like it. I'm sure I'll be contributing some as well Jason. Just did $40 to the Autism Speaks Walk that's going on in Philly.

That was Thrice - Come all you weary. I can get down with pretty much anything if it's acoustic.

i'm in my brothers wedding this weekend and i'm beginning to feel like its my wedding. this girl is so demanding. i had to shell out a ton of money on an expensive bridesmaid dress, had to go to two meet and greets (which were over an hour away for me), go to a bridal shower 2 hours away. now i get an email with specifications on exactly how I need to do my makeup (which i don't even have the colors to do) and exactly how my hair needs to be done (I need cheesy sparkly barettes). I've been taking off so much work lately just to do all the **** that is required for this. i love my brother, but i should have said no to being in this. it's building resentment and i'm already stressed.

being in a wedding is always expensive and a PITA. especially for the gals, buying a dress and shoes they will never wear again.

Yeah defintely. I had a kid I met 2 years ago that was saying he could take my camaro. I told him lets put money on it and well he didn't go through with it. He was claiming it went 12s or 11s and that's when they didn't really have anything for it.

yup, sometimes you have to get them altered so thats an extra fee as well. my wife spent close to $500 to be in her friends wedding, and that didn't include a gift.

Yerp, customarily, they do. Sometimes, when you have a nice bride, they will buy for them. When I get married my ladies can wear whatever, as long as they don't look better than me.

Oh yes. I spent 250 plus 70 for alterations. And bought shoes. And had to take
off work a bunch to go to random ****. If it weren't for
my brother I wouldn't be doing it, trust me.

yea me too. but i don't have anything pressing to do so thats cool. I just got my inline blower fan and wired it up so i can install it into my keezer. this little thing pumps out some a good bit of air at only 4.5v. it's be perfect for an inline electric turbo :P

mm beer indeed. some buddies at work formed a little beer club, so whenever we have a great beer we bring one in for each other. well today i got to work and there was a sierra nevada tumbler and a long trail harvest sitting on my desk. the temptation to drink them has been hard to fight off.
