Morning everyone! Back to the office for me.

SO the dumbass that I work with wrecked her car this weekend. She was making a turn into a shopping center and went up the curb. Bent 2 wheels and slahsed 2 tires. She said she has no suspension damage but is going to sue the shopping center because her car was extra damaged because the, and I quote, 'curb was too high'. It took every ounce of strength I had to say we don't drive cars on curbs...

Oh, this is the person that almost ran me off the road a week or 2 ago.

I hope I overhear her talkig on her phone about what date and where it is so I can go and be one of them laughing. She talks on her phone all day anyway. This place is too loyal to people that worked her a long time. Being here 10 years does not give you the right to do nothing, it only gives you the right to a second chance that a noob might not get.

My work is the opposite. They're tightening their belt a lot.. And the first people to go are those with 20 years. Corporate came in yesterday, had our top HR guy fire three salesmen with 20+ years a piece, then fired him, with 28 years.

I'm glad I've only been here a year..

Wow is she really that fricking dumb. Why was she near the curb in the first place. Like it hasn't been there for years and others have avoided it. How stupid can they be.

My work keeps hiring more people here. And 420 I guess that is the one time to be happy that you are somewhat new. Paying you less but kicking out the ones that are making money, I'm assuming, but could be wrong.

I've worked jobs I didn't like and had bosses I didn't like. This is the first place where all management skills I have are useless. We are losing money right now(at least I assume we are since they cut 1 persons position that was actually really good. There are 3 people I would of cut first), yet we have 2 people that aren't allowed to touch accounts anymore and they are basically secretaries but there truly isn't enough work to really need 1 of them. These 2 people can't even cover for us when we go on vocation. I saw get rid of them, hire 1 person that is capable of handling accounts and can do the admin stuff on the side.

We send everything via mail when the last time I checked every attorney has email or at least fax. We waste $10k+ a year on postage, plus paper, plus envelopes. Not to mention the slower turnaround time that could be had with electronic sending. It isn't like we need the originals.

But my ideas get shut down and we just keep losing money for no reason. I honestly think if they implemented my ideas we would at least break even and in a year start profiting even if the economy is still not good.

dreams usually mean something completely un-related to what actually happened. ie you dream about dog, symbolizes dreaming about friends.
