Im no expert but sand isn't good to eat. I hear its very salty. Your little girl is so precious. The portion of the pic where you see her highly focused eyes is excellent.

The one in that picture is a girl named Emma - a dumbo eared Merle capped girl. She's my favorite, this is her in my sleeve at Auto Zone

I have a dumbo eared dwarf red eyed siamese male named Kitty (King Kong)

A 7 week old black hooded dumbo ear male with no name yet

And the 4th one is Edith, a dumbo ear red eyed Siamese who was at the pet store a little too long

Rats are adorable but red-eyed animals scare me. Something about them I just can't learn to love.
