i also like the v8 rumble of the late 70's ealy 80's gm's and fords. that sound creates a primal urge to mash the accelerator paddle, blow red lights, and get chased by the police while i am giving them the middle finger. (then the beating after they catch me might be a bit of a downer)

it could be smokey and the bandit in real life.

i'm in the same boat. 165K on a 2002. It's not worth ****. But it still runs great, hasn't given me any problems so I'll probably run it into the ground.
