ah... granted then... i'm gonna pick up a 32" for the bedroom at some point... but i won't spend more than $500 for something that size. my 42" cost me a grand off the wall

I hear ya. Although I should probably mention that I didn't pay full price for it. I know the manager at Best Buy, so I got 15% off.

With $49 in tax, it came to $860 total.

Plus the rents wanted to pay for it, but I said just give me half, so in reality, it only cost me $400. lol

if i remember correctly, dynex(best buy brand), is just a rebadged samsung and alot cheaper ..

friend got one not long ago and its a 42" i believe. looks really good.
