It's been end of April last two years. Why change it now?

Last year got rain dated so it got pushed to May 3rd right. So would have been end of April.

Brian, Ill volunteer to help with some setup... I doubt ill be able to help out the whole time but maybe direct traffic, set up parking areas, sell some raffle tix or something like that

Thanks for all the responses everyone... we will definitely be looking for people to help out at the event down the road, but right now I'm looking for people to actually plan the event with me! If anyone has some free time and thinks they are organized and capable of helping to make things happen regarding event logistics and planning, web and flyer design, promotion, vendor and sponsor contacts, etc. then please get in touch. A few dedicated people can do a whole lot of good so I'm hoping thats how we can approach things this year.

Bryan, I'll help out by organizing a KOP caravan to sonic. Last year it was a huge success! So are we still doing this late april or early may?
