Wake up like I do everyday, check the phone and email like I do everyday, I didn't get any emails or texts saying today was gonna blow so hard that Katrina would give us all a refund.

Get myself together to go to the shop, gotta pick Iredia on the way in since he is currently without a car, no problem. So I hop in the sweet Kia Reo rental and stroll the whole 1.4 miles to his place, magically it gets a flat. Fantastic. Get to Iredias house, apparently his ex gf who has possession of his dog, tells him shes giving him to the SPCA cause of a bunch of drama. So we're like, screw that, its a young husky and he wants his dog. We'll go pick it up and get to work. Oh right, the flat tire...

I call Enterprise, let them know the deal, tell them I'm right around the corner. I limp it over, it's literally right around the corner so I didn't change it...hazards on and all I coasted over. Get there, they check it out and get me a sweet Dodge Ram full size rental to replace it....after telling me the tire is gonna cost $102...excellent. So we get in the truck, start driving towards the SPCA/Chevy dealership in Newtown square because they were the only dealer with touch up paint for a Z06 I'm working on currently. This is where it gets good....

I'm just driving along, phone rings...its my sister. Tells me three...not one, THREE for whatever ****ing reason, police officers showed up looking for me. There is apparently 2 warrants for my arrest and my drivers license is suspended....WHAT!?!?!

We swing back, officers left and gave paperwork for us to check out. Literally hand wrote on the back of the paperwork, "we don't know why your license is suspended as we can't pull it up on the computer, however you must respond or you will be placed under arrest. Total amount and fines due: $465.......WHAT!@$!#!@r#%@!

So we swap driving positions, and go straight to the courthouse, bitches there are all confused and **** and theyre like, we're gonna have to get this taken care of. I apparently have to wait for another hearing and bull**** to get it squared away if I dont pay the amount now. Instead of wasting anymore time, it was paid and I had to go to the tags place to get it reinstated. So we do so after all that, and while on the way to the tags place, the body shop calls...

Long story short, they couldnt replicate any of the issues I addressed, and I reminded them that beating the **** out of my car wouldnt replicate the issues. So they offer to take it somewhere that I feel comfortable with, I give them the place and such and hang up. Calls back when I leave the tags place, which was another ****ing $40 to reinstate my license nbd, and he goes

"The bosses came in and said they have no problem taking the car there, but any diagnostics fees and such will have to be on you"

I took a deep breath and he could tell through the ****ing phone I was at boiling point, and quickly goes "should the issues not be found and not related to the repairs..." I told him to disregard doing anything further with my car, I'm coming to pick it up. So we did so, and I now have the car back and currently in a wind down mode because today has been hell. I need to really see what my options are at this point.

Oh and the car has been with them soo long that its out of inspection.

They say mines out for 3 months.

Then I got a paper for 1 year.

Then I got one saying they RECEIVED my license.

Then I got one saying its re-instated.

Then another for 1 year.

NO answers, but now I've got a ****load of spitball material.

You gotta pay it if you wanna drive right away. Best thing you can do is fight it afterwards and it can take a long ass time. I went though a similiar situation, but with my car registration a few years back when I can home from the Army.

Didn't have much of a choice, I needed my license back, regardless of it being "rightfully" suspended or not. Should have NEVER been in the first place, this has been going on for 3 years now. It better finally be done, I have enough paper work now saying its been taken care of 3 ****ing times.

Nick, call a local congressman. They will take it up for you. All they do is serve the public and when they do good deeds for people like this it gets them votes!

My ex got injured during an Army trainging. Got surgery and needed physicial theropy. Army approved it but then wouldn't pay the doc so they refused to treat her. She ended up needed additional medical care and now will never recover. It was amazing how once a we made the call to a senator, they meet us for breakfast at a diner to discuss everything and then a generals office actually called us and she got all the care she needed, no questions asked after that. I personlally don't know why she didn't sue the **** out of them for this, I would have.

I have so much ****ing **** going on lately it's a headache to care anymore about issues like this more than just getting taken care of, I'm just so done with it.
