Just cruising along....i noticed my security light blinking on the dash, thought it was really odd, ignored it. Hit gas pedal...nothing...I'm glad the Fusion decides to shut off while driving with Cruise control on at 3:30 am in the ****ING MORNING a day after I get it back from the shop. You have GOT to be ****ING KIDDING ME.

hey nick,

what do you think of the california car dusters? Whatever car sits in the garage gets dusty but doesn't really necessitate a full wash. A few people on amazon say they cause scratches but a bunch of people say if you glide it lightly, the paraffin impregnated in the fibers will help it not cause any scratches.

Mark,

I have the best solution to such, I use it on the cars during polishing to get any polishing dust off. It's also cheaper and a good indicator that if it doesnt get whatever dust off, then its too dirty to dust and needs to be washed to prevent scratching. California car dusters do/will scratch.

It's a wool duster, it looks thick and heavy, but it weighs about 2 ounces, all in the plastic rod. Here's what it looks like, just look for one in the cleaning/household department of wal mart or something.

They're great the first few times you use them but then they just suck after a while and can scratch. I agree with Oakes, a soft household duster will work just fine.
