Yea that's not a bad idea, but if you actually like it you may outgrow a set of clubs like that pretty fast. You can put together a nice set for only 100 or so more than that. You should go to the driving range and rent some clubs a few times to see if you like it. Then if you do, buy some nicer ones. You can get a set of nice irons for like 200, a decent driver for 1-200 a putter for under 50 and a bag for about 50 too. Granted it won't be the top of the line for the current year, but will be much much better than a generic set in a box from Dick's

I got my clubs on http://www.diamondtour.com/
They make clone clubs that are quite reasonable. I have a Taylor Made burner clones and the R11s clone driver. I shoot mid to low 80's depending on how often I play. The clubs are awesome for the price especially if its your first set.

Make sure you get clubs that are more forgiving.

I'd be down to hit up some courses in the spring with you guys. I played Broad Run the other week, that's a fun course.

Blizzaks are great but pricey. I imagine a truck has a lot more options for snow tires than my car lol.

Listen to Joey when it comes to clubs. Wow a lot has happened since I've been in this thread.

Wife got into accident. She was fine but the car was totaled, so we got a 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee with the check we got.

And I got a new car. 1983 Malibu Wagon.

Veddy nice!!! I just put snow tires on my car today, they're sitting on 16" steelies. Normally I would protest how they look, but I couldn't argue with $300 for all wheels and tires!! My buddy bought Blizzak's for his Cayman R, they were at his house in a few days all mounted and balanced.

I might be looking into getting something like a Nissan Xterra or something to putz around in the snow with. The thought of driving the WS6 through the snow makes me cringe lol

Thanks man. When we got him 4 years ago, I thought something was wrong with him cause he was so thin. Every husky to that point that I had seen was always meaty and thick. Come to find out that they are either pudgy or thin and muscular. I've had him pull me a few times in a sled haha, he's strong as hell. Would never expect that from a 60lb dog
