Anti-seize on the rotors? I replace rotors every time I do brakes so I don't really care. I've never had rotors stuck before, then again I lived in the South with this car and there isn't any salt down there.

Yeah my friend put antiseize on the rotors and the lug nuts. I never bothered with the lug nuts as if you torque them right, they come off like butter. On the bmw's I never get stuck rotors but now that I started to keep the m3 outside I started getting them. I'm building another garage dammit.. I hate having 2 cars I actually like.

But seriously, pb blaster around the hub will get it off. It's almost magic.

Why????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!????????????? ??????????? I get 2 or more sets of front pads to each set of rotors. And usually 1-2 sets of rear rotors per set of fronts.

Because rotors are 15 bucks a pop, and by the time I am due for brakes my rotors aren't in great shape.

What kinda deal can you get for 04 GTO rotors... front and rear? I warped my DBAs and don't wanna turn them, I'd rather replace with some el'chepoes because I don't race my car anyway like I planned.

Even though I work at Pepboys, I don't get rotors and such from there. Rockauto is where I get rotors, they're really cheap and pretty good quality.

I love how you guys cheap out on brakes lol.

If you spend the money and do it right, you wouldnt need to replace the rotors everytime you replace the pads. Don't tell me its excessive use or track days or spirited driving. Quality stuff holds up, I'd rather spend a lot once or twice then replace them every 15k miles.

LOL its a rotor dude...for a daily car. I am not going to spend a crap load of money on a rotor, I don't go cheap on pads (put in Hawks). Also, I have 45k on these brakes, the pads have another 10k left in them but for some reason the pad material is cracking and they aren't cheap pads.

Depends on the car. Quality brakes on a BMW will wear the rotors and pads equally.

QFT: Brakes on the m3, which I drive like an asshole, generally go 75,000+ miles. The car has 211,000 on it and brakes have been done 3 times. In other bad news though, the clutch is finalllllly starting to slip.

Someone told me about it several months ago and I have used it a lot. I don't think it updates the most recent songs lately, but for the most part it isn't too bad.

I spent $800 on my DBA rotors and EBC pads... rotors lasted 40k milse and pads had to be replaced 2X. Even if I had to do my brakes yearly with cheap ones, its would still cost me alot less. The little bet of extra stopping power isn't needed when all I do is sit in traffic on my way to work. I wish I would of realized this before I spent all that money in the first place.

3800 pound car with brakes that are too small in the first place really puts a beating on them.

My Hawk HPS pads did that after about 5k miles. I switched to EBC with no issues.
