I went there hoping to see the evo run 13.2's, after running 13.094, 13.073 and 13.034 i was happy, yet angry i couldnt brake into 12's. Next mod is my o2 housing dump! Cant wait to see what that does ...

I figured I’d get to the track nice and early so I could have as many runs as possible. I got there around 4:45pm and I was the only car. Then the white MR pulls up (Joe) and it’s just me and him until after 5:00.

We finally get to run around 6:30. First cars up are Joe (MR) and I and we storm down the track. It was a good launch for me… the clutch didn’t slip (still stock at 43,000miles) and I said “That felt pretty good.”

But to our surprise… NO FREAKING TIME SLIPS!!!!

I called Ash on the phone and was like, “Yo Ash, what did we run?!”

Joe never got under 13.0 again (his worst was a 13.2) and he was pretty sour all night. And I was struggling to get past 13.5, but I couldn’t hammer it like I wanted with the clutch… and I was pretty sour all night too. Victory was within our grasp, however, fate was not smiling on us. Oh well. I do, however, need a new clutch (it’s struggling to hold the power at low gears.)

Congrats to Karl for his 12.7! I’m happy one of us claimed victory last night.

I was a bit dissapointed with myself last night. Other than my first and last runs I was 13.9 all night.

my best last night was a 13.4 @100.3.. I think I was having traction problems.my last run the clutch gave op, karl has video of it smoking! I did get 8 runs in which is nice,but might just be too many for my clutch in one night.

I called it a night around 9:30. I got 5 runs (could’ve gott’n more) however, I was thinking anything more might be too much.

i know. i think it is just glazed .it seems fine now. just going to baby it for a little . then see if it holds . it has slipped before, but never as much. (fingers crossed)

I'm not that good at launching my car still so if i would've went i woulda blew my clutch in about 5 runs..

Heh, heh. Don't let "the mike" drive it. He'll hand you a new clutch after one run.

Yours is probably O.K, ‘cause you don’t have that many miles. But yes, you’ve gotta do it just right or you’ll be limping home at the end of the night. Mine was fine on the first run, however, there was some minor slippage on the third and fourth run. It wasn’t too bad, however, it was enough to intimidate me into taking it easy on my last run.

I may make another go at it this Tuesday.
