I'm probably the only one here who doesn't enjoy the Sam Adams Summer Ale. The White Ale is more up my alley.

Beck's Dark, Yuengling Porter and Lord Chesterfield Ale,Newcastle Brown, Kronenbourg (French), Paulaner, Hacker-Pschorr, Dos Equis Amber, Moosehead (one of the only Canadian beers I like-pretty cheap too), Widmer Hefeweizen, PBR, Miller High Life, Warsteiner, and Blue Moon. I've heard that Dab is quite tasty too. If you can find it, Saranac makes a tasty pomegranite wheat.

On the other hand, if you have a sweet tooth like me, I am going to recommend hard ciders such as Magners or Strongbow. Any flavor of Woodchuck would do the trick too. If you can track one down, try Strongbow in a can and you'll thank me later..

If I am picking up a six pack I usually get Rolling Rock or Straub, easy to kill the 6 pack in a few hours relaxing.
Partying is def Lionshead, can't beat $11.50 for a case of beer with flavor.
For a nice drink I'll go with a Newcastle, Guiness, or a Yuengling "Half & Half" (Half Porter, Half Chesterfield)

This is on the bottle too....

It's classed as an American Strong Ale.

As for tastes....this is from Beer Advocate.com

Pours a deep dark ruby with good off white fluffy head. Nose is citrus hop and sweet malt. Taste starts off sort of malty, with slight barleywine notes, then cascades into a short sweet sugar taste, followed by a long ride of citrus/pine hops. A good bitter bite on the finish, and the malt sweetness licks the lips. Mouthfeel is quite good, great thickness to it, reminds you of the good malt presence, and the drinkability is quite good for the style. Great beer, and a go to classic when in the mood for some plain old arrogant gluttonous hop and malt face slapping goodness.
