I wanted to go lower so I built some custom Koni/Afco coilovers (didn't want to shell out $1,600 for KW's).
Outside of the Koni yellows which I already had, this project cost me under $300

.

Pics of process:

Removing spring perch

painting strut after grinding down weld

making spring seat (used a 3.5" hole saw)

Next up: Porsche big brake kit.

Hey, new to the forum, slick T5R, hope to have one of my own one day. I am actually located in TN and currently own a 97 850 GLT and love it. I am looking for a suspension set up that is cheaper than kw's but will get a nice low drop. Are the coilovers you built capable of going lower?

Looks awesome. That's what I had to do with my struts since there is no aftermarket.

Haven't updated this thread in a while since I've been extremely busy with school. See below for updates:

-New endlinks from TKi Motorsport:

Slightly larger turbo...
It's my stock turbo (mitsu td04hl-15g), except it was rebuilt by cherry turbos, bored out, and stuffed with a Garrett super60 wheel.

I also have a porsche big brake kit, but I haven't had the chance to install it because I've been so busy

And finally, some pics of mine and a buddy's car after an intensive detail:

I'll update again after BBK is installed
