Thanks for the updates. Good reminder to get my a$$ in gear and get some odds and ends sorted on the car.

Speaking of which, I know the rules state same restraint system must be present on both driver and passenger side. Does this apply to CG locks as well? I have one on my seat, which can be removed easily should it not comply with rules.

I'd ask the instructor. Some are OK with it, others aren't. The rule is more for 5 and 6 point harneses for the driver and regular 3 point stock belts for the passenger. In that situation, the passenger gets tossed around a bit.

It looks liek HPDE1 is fullf or Saturday. Sunday is still open. The other run groups still have open spots.

Everyone should be getting their cars ready soon if they haven't already.

Front track pads and new rear pads set to go on this weekend. Rear calipers look like doo doo, may have to get new ones on this week.

NASA used to be a lot more interesting to me than for instance BMWCCA because they don't have no tint rules, however I decided I'm not getting into track racing until I can afford to buy/build a real dedicated caged race car. It'd be interesting to come to this just to take photos, BS and see how these events unfold but I have to bow out because warminster is also on sunday.

Street tire tread depth question

The tires on my car currently measure 2/32 at the inner edges and 4/32 for the bulk of the tread width. The spec Nasa lists for street tires is 3/32. Can anyone say for sure if this current set will pass/fail tech or not? I have a new set in the garage, but I'd rather not mount the new set for the weekend and then swap back.

They usually don't look at tread that closely unless its raining.

ECU should be in today, I'm signed up for Saturday. If the 240 isn't running I'll either be taking the Maxima or Ray's NX2000 hah
