Dan IDK if that's such a good idea. I know traditionally Vince does most of the driving, and having done my fair share of pulls on their dyno I'm not sure if I owned the shop I'd be letting everyone drive their cars. It's a lot to remember and definitely scary if you've never done it before. Heck it's still scary and I've probably made 50+ pulls myself.

I'd bet on that one being a no. Plus, it's more fun outside of the car.

Vince will say yes or no to that, I'm just saying what I think. But regardless you ALWAYS have the last word and you can always ask them to stop early if you think something is wrong. Just need to speak up! Goes for anyone thinking about dynoing.

crap I need to send my deposit to set my spot up. Still making sure the car is ready and safe to be strapped down, but question to RT crew.... Do you guys have VP 110 on site by chance? I will be running my two runs on this and figured if you have it in stock I can just give you the cash, and if not to the speed shop I will go!

Did you ever drive the MR2 on the dyno? If so, throw everything you know about fun out the window, lol.

FWD is a little more nerve racking, since the wheels can also turn left to right if you get what I'm saying. Can't imagine what AWD feels like, ew.

And no worries, was more answering for everyone reading lol.

Let me see if I can answer all of the questions that have been brought up.

1. Customers won't be able to be behind the wheel of the car when it is being dynoed unfortunately. It is an insurance thing.

2. We do not have racegas on hand. If you want to make runs on high octane bring it with you. It is a good idea to run the tank low and dump it in and get some miles on it so you are sure the racegas is not diluted and that it is being burned when you are on the dyno.

3. At the moment I believe we have 6 cars confirmed but everyone always waits till the last minute for things like this. We are hoping to have about 30 cars through the doors the day of the event.

4. You can always pay in full if you would like to do that. If you would like to pay in full please contact me via PM before hand so I can give you all the info and directions you will need to keep things organized.

100% truth, it's definitely frustrating at times but dyno days always work out in the end. Considering the exposure this one is getting, the people involved, & the cause i'm banking an amazing day.

Anybody who knows me knows i love dyno days & as of now this is the 1st event i have on my calender for the year. Not only for the cause but I've been couped up itching to get out so i'm really excited for this. Like i said before i'll be videoing as many runs as possible and posting up what i can on youtube.

Very true FWD is much different and not for the faint hearted lol. I've seen the same person drive a civic off a dyno 3 times in a row when I worked at beans LOL. The two rules of fwd dyno driving is dont expect to just hold the wheel straight and hit the gas. Most important: don't hit the brakes!

Having dynoed plenty of FWD cars, I can say this is true.

I had a swapped civic on the dyno 2 years ago when a strap actually broke (the locking mechanism ****). Luckily I clutched in, held the wheel straight (arm always locked into the door) and didn't hit a single person or damage anything other than a tire. TO me, a 50 dollar tire is a small price to pay in that situation.

Way toooo many people get ont here and pretned they are driving down 22 to Sheetz...it's no joke with FWD cars, especially ones with power. I always make sure the car is a straight as possible, and double make sure I can grasp the wheel tight, while 'locking' (jamming) my elbow into the door as a secondary restraint.
