Did that yellow legend 2 door bother anyone else as much as it bothered me.. he found places to put strobe lights in that car that i dident even know exsisted.... i really was tempted to go up to it and kick its tire.

Hi Cary and Mark,

I am writing to you about the Nopi/Hin event last weekend at E-town. I was entered in the car show for both days and I stayed until about 7pm on Sunday, I sat in my car as everyone was yelling and screaming outside because of the awards situation, which I feel that they had every right to be upset about. I would like to know what is going on with the awards, how do we find out who won? How do we get an award if we in fact did win? We were all told that awards were going to be given out at 5pm, not any later then that. I had to leave because that is when I was planning on leaving in the first place, I needed to be home and couldnt wait around all night long for your unorganized event staff to figure out who won the car show. I'm sorry but I feel that the event was very poorly organized, and I saw that Mark was given the chance to use a megaphone to address the crowd about the situation that was taking place and he just walked away...I dont think that that is a very good way to treat the people who are responsible for making your event semi-successful.

I feel that the money I spent to enter my car in your event and the money I spent to get to the event was a complete waste because of the way that the awards were handled, and because people just like me cant just sit around all night and wait for you guys to get your act together.

Please let me know what is going on with the awards, and if you plan on holding an event like this in the future, I hope that it would be a little more organized.

Overall I was extremely disappointed with the event.

That seems like a pretty beat response if you ask me. I would have offered you money back in that situation or at least written a little more than a copy paste link to their website. I do believe him when he says he won't be coming back to e-town tho. If the rest of their events across the country are turning out the way this one did, they might not be doing any more events anywhere.

I am very sorry that you fill this way and that you did not enjoy the show. We are doing our best in a difficult economy and we had a very severe thunderstorm that knocked out the computer and we had to re-input all of the information and it took some time. Hot Import Nights will be going back indoors after the Chicago show and getting back to our roots. Thanks for your support.

We would love to have you back and again. I am usually there late on Sunday for any issues that may arise, but I had to be back in LA. You can send any concerns you have to me and I will do my best to address them.

Some of my crew members won including myself but I didn't stick around for the award ceremony, my whole crew left.

THey told me specifically that the awards will not be given out.

I don't think its fair that other car clubs won best car club or loudest car club when they were announcing the trophies when they actually said they won't be giving them out.

It is what it is.
