Morning everyone. Hope you all had a good weekend. Its not even 10am and its ****in HOT. Got my alternator in. Went to tension the belt and the piece that was bent to begin with broke lol. I got it tight enough to take it around the block though. I've never heard my car be so gnarly in my life. Video link coming soon. Oh well. Staying inside for the rest of the day I suppose.

i probably would be able to see boobs, but i wouldnt be able to see what they're attached to.

So im looking to buy a truck.... a big obnoxious "hey, hey you, go **** yourself" kind of truck. Opi on here is selling one, but its a gaggle of miles and needs some work. Im looking for an F250 crew cab 8ft bed, diesel or gas, or an excursion.

im really liking the truck. it needs some work, but thats to be expected with any older vehicle. only thing that bothers me is the miles. 173k. Thats a helluva lotta miles, but it is a turbo diesel work truck.

Im buying it as a 2nd vehicle, and as a truck for my dad to drive since his pickup truck is getting ready to hit the scrap yard (1988 f150 straight6 4x4 manual everything)

At that many miles, Jim...have the injectors been replaced, because if not they are ticking time bombs at this point...

...seeing as how injector jobs are in the 4-6 thousand dollar range, that's something I don't wanna see you have to eat.

Thats the same thing that was going through my mind. Now I don't feel all that bad thinking of doing a bette fuel pump and injectors for my bigger cam plans.

Wow, didnt know its that much.

heres the good and bad from his ad:
Good:
1 new injector
Brand new 285 m/ts
everything works
solid truck

Bad:
Tailgate is beat-up, I may have a new one on in a few weeks though
Body is not perfect
Leather has some flaws, rips etc.
needs one more injector, steering stabilizer and driveshaft carrier bearing
edit: a/c getting weak, probably needs a recharge

AC just needs a recharge is a red flag. So cheap and easy to do that anyone selling would of already done... especially since it is summer. Have a feeling it is more then that.

Also, don't know anything about deseils.... but why would you only do 1 injector here and there and not all in 1 shot?

Jim, I'd personally wait man...you'll find nicer...or offer 11, that's it.

In watching our shop truck go down because of injector issues, and the replacement borrowed truck start to inhibit signs of the same issue, its kinda dumb to do one at a time...

...their like Lemmings, they all kinda go together.

Just put into account everything that potentially can die very soon on that thing, plus the other stuff...

Reupholstering those seats...

Tailgate...

Driveshaft bearing...

I'm not trying to hate or sale-block a dude, just saying if you browse a little more, you'll find tons nicer.
