Ok lagos, you really don't have any information on the subject, and your response shows that... its best to move the convo on.

What drama. Can somebody explain to me what shaving an engine bay is...? WITHOUT beating me into the ground, meaning I just want a legit answer and no smartass remarks.

Generally it's filling (welding) holes in and getting rid of excess brackets, mounting posts, and holes left when tucking or removing parts in the engine bay, that weren't intended to be moved, such as emissions equipment, and in Troll's case, wiring holes, and such that would be left over from relocating the fuse box.

should have taken more photos today but didnt...

i mounted the igniter and resistor inside the passenger fender, they're tucked up nice and tight. we also cut the fuse box free and labeled all of the wires. the fuse box is now cut completely free and we're ready to mount it in the rear of the car. the engine and chassis harnesses are about ready to start going back in as well in their modified state, after the extended wires are soldered in from the chassis harness side to run down the drivers side of the car.
i'll add in more photos of this stuff tomorrow to make up for the lack of photos here...

no turning back now...

wire labels and a list started to keep track

That's insanely tedious work, but props to Fred for helping you out with it. Is there a specific reason you chose the rear of the car, as opposed to somewhere like the glovebox?

the location in the rear is adjacent to the newly relocated battery which will provide a very short wire run for power from the battery to the fuse box. after removing the factory subwoofer, the location left by its vacancy gave us enough room for the battery, fuse box, and a few other items. placing it where we did allows full retention of the glove box, and does not take away any space that wasnt already taken by the under-performing factory sub.

I left before the wire cutting started, but the igniter and resistor pack are really hidden and look great.
