What's the point of the working dog evaluation thing?

Schutzhund is amazing. I've seen that done at a few different shows.

The WAE is a temperament test, just like the CGC, but it's only for Dobermans.. they're supposed to be calm with neutral strangers and "good" people, calm and curious through "scary" noises to test nerves, run over different terrain they have to willingly go over..and at the end an aggressive stranger that is wearing a bite suit and scary clothes and the handler pretends to "attack" the human and the dog is SUPPOSED to react aggressively. If they don't do any of the above stages willingly, they fail.

Ahh, okay. As of now, how do you think he would do? How old are they when they are tested?

They have to be at least 18 months old to test, and he's less than 6, so I have a ways to go lol.

but the bitch has a nice topline and I like her rear angulation

Thanks. The breeder wanted the females to have more of a doggie head like the sire.

Bliss certainly has that. She didnt fill out till she was almost 3.

She is probably around 15 months here.

I think its crazy how different she looks from the more American/hunting style Labrador



I tried hunting/field work with Bliss...she wanted nothing to do with it She did like tracking though.
