I'm not sure either but I read the description of the off topic forum which is "First, see if your thread belongs anywhere else on the forum. Then, stop and think about it a little more. If after your own personal double-screening it it doesnt belong anywhere else, put it here. Nothing automotive. Ever." and figured that since we weren't told that our conversations didn't belong anywhere in specific that they belong in there.

I guess my thread was too broad and what we're supposed to do is start a new thread in off topic about every off topic discussion we want to have, I feel bad for anyone that uses the NEW TOPICS button, it's about to get RUINED by all the new topics we're going to have to start.

Not sure why some are getting so worked up and reacting the way they are.
This is not a chatroom, it is a forum. We let you get away with a LOT... as evidenced by this thread.
If you want to chat about nothing, there are other ways to go about that which I would encourage you to use.

My biggest issue is with talking about street racing, stolen car parts, and so on... thats is something I never want TST associated with and no matter what thats going to have to stop right now.
I didn't ask that much of you, just to keep things loosely related, and some are reacting like I just cut their balls off. If you are going to respond that way then I don't know what there is for me to do about it, all I'm looking for is a little effort and cooperation.

As for starting another thread while we're still discussing options here, sorry thats not gonna work. Maybe its a good idea and its one I'm open to considering, but right now is not the time. I'm being pretty flexible here and open to listen to your (respectful and disrespectful) replies, IMO. The biggest mistake was letting you go on the way you have for so long, because now you feel like something is being taken away, when really its not.

Fair enough, I think that we were flipping out because it sounded like you were telling us that we had to be %100 on topic all the time in here from now on. It makes total sense and I can respect (and agree with) the fact that the street racing and stealing **** posts have to stop completely. As long as we can still have fun (within reason) in here I don't think anyone has a problem with that.

im pretty sure troll has been enforcing the no talk of street racing for quite some time in this thread. i remember him mentioning this numerous times during the summer time, which really doesnt get talked about much here anyways but i see his concern.

Probably, Now i have to think before i post. And i dont like thinking when im home tryin to relax. i finaly got my fenders and rad support pieces! woot. still not clutch disk tho FML. Cant wait till my car is drivable again so i can bring it to the BB meet(loosely on topic)
