Good morning and 4pm can't arrive quick enough.

I am looking forward to saturday. Getting together with a few friends to test baby back ribs with spice rub and sauce reciepes. They are getting ready for the Garry Maddox bbq challenge this August.

Other than that it will be a low key weekend.

I got these wheels yesterday. I came home to find 4 boxes with a nice surprise inside:

Ang, there was a box on my pourch when I came home too.... but it was a car seat for a kid. Not as exciting as wheels. Atleast its pimp though cause its made by Racaro.

I think they are forged. They are the Type F wheels in black. I found them used on a subaru forum. The price was really good. There are some scratches on one of the wheels but it should be covered with a wide tires.

Jay are you going to pappa soon?

Hell do. I told Julie that if that happened I would put a helmet, neck brace, elbow, and knee pads on her and she would fall down the steps... I was joking of course but I'm not at a point where a kid is a good decision at the moment. I wanna make about $20k more a year first before considering it.

The seats are actually for her job since she works with kids all day. Had to get some pimp ass seats for the HHR though. Plus, they got surprisingly good ratings from consumer reports and govt tests.

I understand what you mean. Being in a good financial position should be part of a euqation when thinking about having babies.

Recaro baby seats sound great. The babies will be spoiled in her car.

Hey guys and gals. Morning to everyone. Hopefully today isn't as ****ty as yesterday was with how busy. Hope everyone is doing well. That's about it for now. Got racing tomorrow and looking to get out of first round slump I'm in.

Apply at Citadel Credit Union. Great interest rates and no hidden fees. I've been with them for along time. Great place to do business with.

You can also check Diamond Credit Union, same deal but it is where Julie does her banking. She loves them as well. I recently opened an account there so I can have a secret savings account that I forget about.

I have a card from bank of America. Only 9.99% fees. I end up spending $1000, I end up paying $10 in interest. I like that.

do you have a good history with your bank?

its harder to get a credit card than it is a car loan or a mortgage. the reason is, its considered unsecured debt.

Plus, car loans are more effective on your credit than a credit card is.

My bank said the opposite. They can make more on a CC through interest, plus if you default on the car, they repo, and have a chance to recoup some funds.

That was what I was thinking too. It is much easier to get a secured loan(car) then a credit card.

This just happened at work:

Tammy just said the dumbest thing I've ever heard. Back story - Tammy and Shaun went outside to smoke and saw a mouse run down the sidewalk. Shaun freaked adnd jumped on a bench. They came inside and told the story.

Tammy actually said in all seriousness a mouse is just a baby rat. She didn't belive me that they are different.
