Not much done too her. Im kinda scrapped on cash so its a learner right now. I got a full exhaust, manifold (not exactly sure what it is) port, to apexi 3 inch dp, to straight pipe, to thermal research and design 3inch cat back. New K&N filter (that's the old one that came with the car in the picture), SAFC2, Innovate LC-1 wideband kit, boost gauge. Boost turned up to 15psi. MBC. ACT streetdisk, with 2300. Not really much. But its a great fun car. Got her for $2800. Put some work into her, but I think shes pretty sound right now.

Tan leather interior, only problem is the driver seat has a huge rip in it. Otherwise it would be pretty much flawless for 130k on the odometer

But do you like her? I fall more in love with that green color the more i see it. Probably because its my DSM.

Is your 97 a 6 bolt swap?

Nope. It has a 99 motor in it with 188,000 miles. The body has 254,000 miles.

Green grew on me too.


I wish it would stop taking my money though. I had a tie rod end go, and it took 2 Dunlop Star Spec tires with it. They still had 5/32" on them. Wore the inner edge straight to the belts.

Yea, my clutch fork broke. So when we drop the trans, we find out the transmount was not connected. One stud was stuck in it, the other hole didn't have anything. So while we had the trans out we did the axle seals, Rear main seal, and oil pan gasket (still had RTV on it! not sure if it was the factory Rtv). Oh and there was a clutch disk that looked stock, pretty beat, in there with an act 2300 or 2600 pressure plate (feels more like a 2600). Which was weird because that thing never slipped and it was either engaged or disengaged like a 6 puck.

Tie rod end, sway bar linkage, alternator, fork, clutch plate (act street disk), both front axles, maf, battery (i forget), Cam angle sensor.

But it came with a brand new evo 3 big 16g, zero shaft play. Spools great.

Car pulls hard, I believe it was a very good buy.

-eff it I'm VTA after hearing his car inside....need GM maf setup later on tho.

VTA = vent to atmosphere
Brinton, why do it if you dont need it? I hear the bov on every turbo car i ever owned that wasnt VTA. If anything just go speed density. You got v3, kp can set it up.

Does anyone know the owner/previous owner of a 1gB Talon that was teal in color , With a white drivers side fender and door, And passenger side mirror?

Car had a b16g, engine work, gm maft, fuel pump, new kyb adjustable gas struts/eibach springs, fmic kit, intake kit, powdercoated valve cover, all the gauges/pod, wideband ETC ????

If so, The car just came into harry's yesterday as I got a call saying a fully built car showed up, up there? The car is however stripped to nothing as of now, But it's very strange that someone would just junk this car. I believe it had been impounded and the person never showed up or something, because anyone who knew the actual car would know they were able to sell just the turbo, For what harry's junk yard gave for the entire car. All those above parts and engine came out to $180. Not the first time I've got a call saying these types of fully modded cars showed up in there. Always see carbon fiber hoods/hatches/panels showing up , up there for $10-20.

EklipzGSXkid, where is Harry's junk yard at? It sounds like it would be worth the trip from South Jersey for me just to check it out. I love scouring the local You-Pull-Its finding unique dsm parts.
