I've seen many people with successful long distance relationships, mostly military people, but it can be done and isn't as bad as it sounds. Usually the distance is only temporary and if you consistantly work towards a goal then you have something to look foreward do. Doing long distance just because you are too much of a wuss to just break up are the ones that are problematic because neither really cares but wants the familiarilty of it.

that's part of the fun of modding cars. 193k miles on the 240 and i trust it driving me everywhere.

dump 30k in mods and i'll be afraid to take it more than 50 miles away from home... joy.
