I said ignorant, and it is. If someone wants to share their opinion on whether they like or dont like flip flops personally, thats understandable. Thats quite easy to do in a mature and respectful way.
If they want to judge someone else and go on to try to insult them (especially using the word 'gay' as if we're in 3rd grade all over again), it makes me wonder whats really going on inside their head to bring about this kind of behavior.
Someone who is secure with who they are and has enough self confidence wouldn't waste their time with that kind of thing.

Are people REALLY getting upset over this (and I'm not saying you are getting upset, you're just trying to be p/c)? TROLL, would you prefer if we used metrosexual instead of gay? They just happen to often look the same. I know gay guys and they don't care if I call them gay. It's like me getting upset of I'm called a straight guy (which really, you can argue the flipflop/sandal thing all day, but whatever they are, I'm really not gay just because I wear them ).

ive never had a woman suspect me of being gay while i was wearing my flops. Plus i feel like if they did think i was gay that would give me an easier in, girls are more relaxed with gay dudes, they arent afraid to let their guard down and get flirty/touchy.

it really comes down to mannerisms and body language for how people judge your sexuality.

and dont worry about things making you gay, thats ridiculous
