After workouts, mix a protein shake with a tablespoon or two of olive oil or all natural peanut butter. The fat will keep you full for longer, the fat in the olive oil is good for you, and its an easy way to get some "good" calories.

We're talking about getting healthy and you're talking about smoking pot... haha. I don't want to assume you're saying it'll result in you eating more munchies, but thats certainly not going to result in good weight. Weight gain we're talking about is high protein, good carbs, and low fat... and promotes muscle growth. Gotta fuel your body right if thats gonna happen, kinda sucks but you gotta pay to play.

Good fat is just as important as quality carbs and quality protein.

Ideally you do not want any fats in your post workout shake because fat only slows the absorption of foods and you need the whey protein to be absorbed as quickly as possible by your depleted muscles directly after a workout.

A simple carb like dextrose or malodextrin can/should be added to the protein powder and WATER for the quick replenishing of muscle gylcogen and better absorption/uptake of nutrients, ie protein, aminos, and carbs etc into the muscle to move from a catabolic to anabolic state. Thank you BIO 141 class for teaching me about this stuff!

if you look at a majority of weight gainers they have a ton of sugar which basically just fattens you up.
