My 95 beretta has many chips. But NONE of them rust, and the car is 14 years old.

Along with the thin paint, I would say poor primer/antirust treatment.

I could key the crap out of my GM's, and it wouldnt rust the metal underneath.

However, I just saw a cobalt with alot of rust underneath. It cant be but a few years old.

Bottom line is that all new auto manufactures are being cheap asses and new cars probably wont hold up like the older cars did.

yeah, I'm going to give SOA a call and see how it goes since the dealership was useless.. I just use my car to commute to school, currently it just reached 8,000 miles and I've had it for just about a year..
