I'm a fat guy, but I don't eat that much garbage... I'd say I eat pretty much the same stuff that any of my thinner friends do... I just spend a lot of time in front of the tv/computer and don't get enough exercise. Weird though, I seem to have a pretty steady metabolism; i don't think I've gained/lost any weight in the last 5 or 6 years.

You said you had 3 double cheeseburgers the other day and that it doesn't affect you. Sure it doesn't affect your body weight; I also bet you're Ectomorph. You're not seeing any fat/weight gains but you think eating 3 double cheeseburgers won't affect you? Cholesterol, clogging up your arteries, diabetes etc.

Your body may be nice as skinny but when you get to the point where you want to pack on muscle or get big and not look like a little boy anymore, you'll find yourself not seeing any gains. You can drink 500 ****ing grams of weight gainer, stack d-ball, test, and winny and you will still couldn't fill up the sleeves on a medium.

Being as ignorant as you are, do you have any idea what it would take to lose that kind of weight? To say one day, **** it, im changing my life and im going to eat healthy and at 300+lbs im going to start running? **** no, you couldn't run with your body weight and 150lbs in your hands. I bet you couldn't even pick up 150lbs. lol

I really don't feel like singling you out, but you seem to have the most to say. Of course this is hypothetically speaking, for all I know you could be fat too. I'm just judging you to be the average very skinny, small male by your ignorant responses. Make sure when you reply you tell me how much you hate being judged without me even knowing you. Then you honestly feel how this man would feel if he found this thread....

Secondly, I find it offensive that I can't play one game on Xbox live against someone outside the U.S. without them calling me a fat american. It's disgraceful. This is the **** that pisses me off about how I get looked at because of the actions of America's lazy people.
Don't go on xbox, that's for losers. Why would you let the kids from England playing call of duty bother you? LOL

This thread would have been great potential for a good discussion kevin had you just discussed it and not took pictures of a man minding his own business and then attacking him...I bet you didn't say that to him in person?

How do you plan on being a nutrionist or personal trainer if you can't find yourself being nice to these obese people? That's where most of your clients would come from. Do you think someone who is stacked would come to you and ask you to train them? **** no, you'd be asking them to help you.

You're talking about how hard it is to lose weight, as if we're looking at a picture of a 400 pound man buying diet pills, saltine crackers and some ipecac!

I wouldn't know because I've never weighed 400 pounds. I am in NO way a skinny person. I consider myself average to maybe a tad overweight. That wasn't my point. You're defending the guy saying it's hard to lose weight when you weigh 400 pounds. Yes, I bet it's very hard, hence the gastric bypass and lap band procedures they have now. I've been a witness of what bariatric surgery can do, a family friend who weighed easy 350-400 pounds and now is at a comfortable 180-200. I realize not everyone can afford surgery like that. BUT

I CAN tell you what is NOT in the agenda for losing serious weight..

And that's buying $50+ of Entenmann's!

Those surgeries are the easy way out and I think a person who gets that done doesn't deserve to be skinny. You got that way, you change it. Otherwise you do not appriciate the hard work that it takes to lose the weight and you will go right back to being fat someday.

Maybe at this point in his life he's not ready to change, or maybe he isn't committed. If you're a tad overweight like you say you are, then you realize how hard it is to get the dedication to drop everything and start one day. If you had the dedication, then you wouldn't even say you're overweight because at that point you'd be about it, instead of talking about it.

BTW I don't think you're overweight.

Thanks, but again, I'm not the topic of discussion.

Sorry to say it..but if he weighs that much and he's an older guy, there isn't that much time to turn life around! JUST the weight and the weight ALONE stresses somebody's body SO much. Not to mention what's going on in the cardiovascular system, how's it's stressing the joints, stressing the kidneys, the lungs, risk for diabetes increases. I could go on & on. The point is, being lazy is NOT an excuse for being THAT overweight and still buying boxes upon boxes of Entenmann's.

Great point, a lot of people dont seem to realize that it takes great effort to achieve it and sustain it too.For example I'm a hard gainer muscle wise and my metabolism is pretty crappy too, I know that if I eat like crap over the weekend, I need to kill myself at the gym that Monday to offset the weekend.

and that's how it should be. Try killing yourself in the gym 6x a week for 3hrs a day. It's all in how bad you want it. Some of us just want it so bad they can taste it.

but besides that, I want to know why anyone in their right mind would secretly take a picture of a man buying stuff for himself, who they had nothing to do with, only to post it on tst to get ridiculed. NOT FAIR!

They should make designated spots on the back of the lot for this reason. I think fat people who apply for those handicap passes should get a pass for the back spaces and make them walk.

Also, It does affect us because it affects our health insurance premiums.

It's good that everyone thinks that hard work is going to get you to lose weight. That's the way it should be, I wasn't endorsing gastric bypass. I simply get fed up with people feeling bad for all obese people and get mad when people think obese people deserve any more respect than someone else. I had to listen to a woman who easily weighed 400 pounds on the very small two-seater on the SEPTA train to Philly tell me I should get up and move for her because SHE couldn't fit when she went to sit where I was already sitting. Then, when I said no, I could hear her b1tching that SEPTA should design the seats to be bigger. UH? No.

People get their picture taken in public all the time, it's not illegal and it's not immoral, IMO. Girls get pictures of them with their shirts lifted up over their tits hanging out and no one complains or feels sorry for them because they do it to themselves. And that's all I'm saying. If someone CHOOSES to eat themselves to that kind of weight, unless they have a medical condition, like hypothyroidism, there's NO excuse for that and they can't complain. If they are heavy & happy, that's fine, but I bet they are not healthy.

you're missing the point. If someone did take a picture of you and posted it publicly calling you a fat slut and you found it, how would you feel? Exactly. Exactly...

BTW not getting up for someone who simply was having a problem fitting in the seats was just indecent. Would it have really affected you much by moving to the seat next to it and having that women be more comfortable? Fat or not, they're still human and helping someone out never hurt anyone. Good job Rosa Parks, although she didn't get up out of her seat for the RIGHT reason.

1. If I weighed 500 pounds, I think I'd come to expect the title fat every now and then.
2. Did the guy find the thread and I missed something? Do you go around crusading for all of the other people made fun of on the internet who are heavy?
3. I DID move over to the second seat of the TWO SEATER to let her sit down. She couldn't fit.
4. She didn't ask, she TOLD me to get up. Sorry I didn't go into vivid detail the first time, but if you'd like to make me out to be some sort of rude asshole, I guess I have to explain. I'm not mean for no reason. If she had said, "Do you think you could move because I'm having trouble fitting?" I would have had no problem getting up. Being told, "Move, so I can sit down" is BEYOND rude and yes, let's compare Rosa Parks and the black civil rights movement to me not moving for an obese woman who missed one or two lessons in manners.
