yes please! it's still a bit of a hike, but if there is a personal connection to a mature person, it might help us out wtih being 'welcomed' at a place... i think it'd be worth the trek! thanks

I brought it up with my mom, she said some old head car clubs meet there for breakfast on the way to shows at atco and down the shore so she doesn't think it will be a problem. The owner usually comes in on Sundays so if she sees him she will bring it up to be sure.

ha! i grew up in delran! that'd be cool- i think these are great ideas and we could rotate to all of them occaisionally, a) for variety, b) to not wear out our welcome, and c) to try and please everyone location-wise.

i love the benihana idea- great lot.
dolphin, yes please do talk to your friend- is that the steak and hoagie works in the same shopping ctr as the ham place?
and john- i think that the diner would be great too - great for allie and jerry since they always have a hike no matter where the meet is!

a good idea might be to schedule one of these per month... one sunday night we're at the diner, maybe the next sunday we're at the hoagie place, etc... rotate it like that. thoughts?

also would like to take a poll of preferred dates / times for you guys???
my vote would be for sunday nights (not to conflict with teh CI meets, but that seems to be a good night where almost everyone is available).

Hi, i am new to the forum but in the south jersey area. I understand you frustration on a meeting place that wont get the ricers. If you were considering deptford, then woodbury isnt that far away. there is A old caldors, and also another closed down store(forget the name) I dont think the local cops would mind too much. THe places i speak of are on route 45, and food places are all over the place there. just throwing out some options. hope it helps
