Not sure. Worth trying it out for the price. The install looks easy, although I need an E10 socket.

It doesn't require a tune, the computer can learn and compensate. Tunes are best left to after all hardware has been installed for maximum gain. Softronic claims 345hp flywheel with just their tune, so with the bolt ons I'm hoping for 355 or so.

Hoping so! On a bigger track, I think i would have had a harder time with the zo6 and mustang gt.

My e10 socket came in the mail. Amazon $6 shipped. Now time to set aside some time for the car

Installed the IPD Plenum today. Took me less than 2 hours, most of the time was spent messing with the clamps and lining up the rubber boots on the intake manifolds.

You can see the design changes this plenum has over the factory piece. Some golf ball dimples to improve air speed, an air divider, and larger openings.

ECU needs 50 miles or so to compensate...will post driving review later

I drove the 911 out to Middleburg yesterday for a couple hours to let the ECU reset.

Throttle response is definitely sharper and I found myself reaching to shift quicker than usual.

Solid mod. The car definitely felt like it had smoother pull to it, especially going up hills

I wouldn't pay $800 for it, so I'm pretty pleased with getting it for what I did.

Can't complain about that, sounds like a cheap mod (for a Porsche anyway, hehe)

Nope! I was a little skeptical because dynos are so varied. Some show huge 19whp gains, others show nothing. That makes me believe it's closer to nothing.

I was pleasantly surprised, there's an uptick for sure. Buying parts for the Porsche is all about buying them used for 40% the original price whenever you can. (Except for shocks, obvious reasons)

Starting to think that I want to finish out the power bolt ons (headers, high flow cats, tune). Might as well finish it up. Then put on coilovers and do another track day. In no particular order

I think the tune may make you miss the Evo or STi where a tune can make 50whp

You're right, or even the GTI! I am looking forward to the finished product with bolt-ons. It'll sound great and if I gain 20-30hp, sweet!

Also, I would really like to tie up the suspension and have been leaning more towards the Ohlins with custom spring rates due to the valving vs. a PSS9.

Well, I called Bilstein east and was told that the PSS9 is the PSS10 for my car because it adjusts ride height and dampening. I was also told that the PSS9 is the B14 kit and that the B16 kit is the PSS10. The B14 kit is non-adjustable dampening.

Confused yet?

I may call Bilstein west next, the answers run counter to my understanding of the model lineup.

Here and there....it seems to have worked! The car seems more willing to rev from mid-range.

Thanks! Yeah, they're not doing bad. The brakes on this car have always required more pedal pressure than I'm used to, but they definitely work

I'm in the process of moving to a larger apartment, so I haven't been doing too much related to either car lately. I'll have updates soon.

Having a base model car has me on the lookout for an S that is reasonably priced. Brakes, suspension, power all a touch better.

Saw this today and am curious:

http://www.porscheoftysons.com/detai...-15301986.html

No timetable or really any driver to get anything done but it's a future possibility
