and if you're still interested, i got it in and installed it tonight like i just said. Surprisingly I'm pretty happy with it. Ill admit the coating is so/so and there was one 1/2" spot where the weld looked a little ****ed up, but other than that everything fit, lined up, and works like its supposed to. And, even after running it up and down the street a few times at full boost, the cold side end tank is still pretty damn cool which kind of took me by surprise. Im gonna try to do a boost leak test this week just to make sure everything really is 100% leak free so i guess that will be the real test. The one year warranty kind of eases my mind though.

That's good, I'm glad it's working for you. Let me know if you get any kind of squeaking when shifting at high rpm / full boost. I've been getting a little squeak, but I think it's the wastegate. Do you have a GS ebcs?

What do you mean by squeaking? On my stock intercooler id get like a whistle at higher rpms. I know some intercoolers do that when you run higher boost, but thats a small air leak i would assume. I took it for a nice little highway run after the install and did a hand full of 3rd and 4th gear full boost pulls to watch my boost gauge and make sure i didn't get any pressure drop (which i didn't ) and i didn't notice any strange noises, ill listen next time I'm out in it though

Check my youtube channel and listen to the Q300 exhaust videos. You can hear the squeak when I shift.

Are you planning on going TP stage 3 now that you have an upgraded IC?

oh yea i hear what you're talking about. I haven't experienced that yet but ill keep an ear out. And yea I'm gonna go tp stage 3 pretty soon. Still have to get the grim speed ebcs, and a fuel pump. I can't decide if i wanna get the walbro 255 or wait for DW to release their new "drop in" fuel pump

I've been going back and forth about which fuel pump to get as well. I think I'm just going to wait for the DW drop in pump. I've read it's a bitch to modify the housing for the walbro's to work correctly.

just ordered one of these

Now all i need to do is decide on the fuel pump to go torqued performance stage 3...the link i posted above is nice because it comes pre-assembled, and that way i can keep my stock unit assembled and not have to worry about modifying anything and you get the walbro name which is obviously a plus. decisions decisions.......

Nice choice with the GS ebcs. The quality of that thing is top notch. Are you planning on getting 1 step colder plugs? Eric recommends that for the stage 3 tune as well.

I'm not sure about what to do with the fuel pump either, even after showing me that link. I don't really trust IIR that much.. haha. What do you think?

yea I'm planning on changing out the plugs as well. i actually just emailed him seeing what he'd recommend. And idk i don't see anything wrong with iir. Their customer service is great imo, and from what I've heard. I won't hesitate to order from them again.

I think I may just wait for the DW drop in pump. It's supposed to be around $150 and comes with a 3 year warranty.
